The framed wall vent mounts right on top of your wall or ceiling with a slim, clean metal frame — no mudding or taping required. It's a retrofit-friendly DIY design that installs in minutes with common tools, so it's the easiest way to get a modern, upgraded look. The difference from our Flush Wall Vent is that the flush version is mudded into the drywall so the frame disappears completely, while the framed version keeps a tidy visible frame and skips all the drywall work.

Why metal instead of plastic — isn't metal too heavy?
