Installation Instructions
Before you begin: Remove the old cover and measure the bare opening, not the cover. Check the framed wall vent size guide and leave enough clearance behind the wall for the vent body and open dampers.

Fit the vent body.
Leave the decorative face off. Place the vent body into the opening and check that the frame sits level and evenly against the wall. On models with dampers, leave both flaps closed until the body is fastened.

Fasten from inside.
Fasten through the pre-drilled side-wall holes with drywall screws, angling the driver into the opening as shown. Keep the frame level and seated evenly against the wall.

Push the dampers inward.
For models with dampers: After fastening, push both metal damper flaps backwards into the duct, approximately 80–90° from their closed position. Keep the three small metal joining points on each flap attached.
The flaps bend inward; they are not removed. Leave a clear passage between the opened flaps. If your vent has no dampers, skip to the next step.

Refit the face.
Attach the removable face securely to the vent body. Check that it is seated properly and that the perimeter airflow gap stays clear.

Finish to match (optional).
Paint or wallpaper the visible surface to match your wall. Keep paint, wallpaper and debris out of the airflow gap and moving parts.

Awesome product
Worked just like it said it would. The colour was a little off white but it still looked fine. I only wish they would make more sizes. Couldn’t find one for my 8” x 30” vent.

While it obviously belongs securely mounted on a wall or ceiling, just holding it tells you the build quality is leagues above the cheap plastic alternatives.Installation was completely frictionless. It slid perfectly into my 4x10 opening exactly as described, requiring absolutely no struggling, modifying, or dealing with messy drywall mud. The clean, white finish looks fantastic right out of the package, and the hidden-tray design gives it a very sleek, modern profile against the wall. The damper adjustment is just a nice bonus to dial in the airflow exactly where I need it.This is perfect for anyone wanting a clean, modern aesthetic upgrade for their wall or ceiling grilles that takes mere minutes to install. You should strictly skip this if you are shopping for a load-bearing floor register to withstand heavy foot traffic.

We are currently going through a basement development, and wanted to integrate these vents into our HVAC design. The 4x10 metal framed wall vent is beautiful, and turned out to be a great choice for our HVAC layout. The surface-mount design looks excellent, and installation is incredibly easy. We were able to place them exactly where airflow mattered most, and the slim frame blended cleanly into the walls. The pin-and-slot metal tray lock in securely and don’t sag or loosen, and they lift out easily for cleaning. The all-metal construction was a must, as they won’t warp or discolor. The adjustable damper is perfect for fine-tuning airflow, and they work great to direct airflow to different areas of the basement. Overall, these framed vents elevated the look of our basement, and they are durable and look fantastic.
