The Undermount installs into your subfloor and sits completely flush with your finished flooring — with no visible frame or raised lip at all, for the most seamless, built-in look. The trade-off: it must be set into the subfloor, so it's a more involved install than our Drop-In series, which simply clicks into your existing duct opening with no cutting.

Yes. The Undermount has built-in metal dampers you can open or close to fine-tune airflow. Note: the dampers ship in the closed position and need to be bent open to your preferred setting — see the damper adjustment guide image on this product page for how to set them.

It supports all types of flooring, including laminate, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), vinyl, hardwood, engineered hardwood, tile, ceramic, porcelain, cork, bamboo, and carpet — up to about 20 mm (¾ inch) thick. You drop your matching flooring into the removable insert for a seamless finish. If your flooring is thinner, just add a sub-insert underneath (thin plywood, underlayment, or spacers) so it sits perfectly flush. The insert also lifts out for easy cleaning.

It's one of the easiest undermount-style vents to install. It sets into the subfloor and comes with everything you need — mounting hardware plus adjustable leveler screws that make dialing in a flush, level finish simple. A little DIY comfort helps since it fits into the subfloor, but the included levelers do the hard part for you. Prefer no cutting, or already have your flooring installed?
