Signature Undermount Floor Vents

The undermount is the cleanest floor vent we know how to build. It mounts beneath the floor surface rather than sitting on top of it, so the grille finishes dead level with hardwood, tile or vinyl plank — a hidden floor vent that reads as part of the floor instead of a fixture bolted to it.

How it differs from a drop-in

A drop-in register rests on the floor and keeps a thin visible frame. An undermount has no frame on the surface at all: the tray drops into a cut-out in the subfloor, your flooring finishes over the edges, and the walkable grille sits flush. It is the right choice when the floor is coming up anyway — new builds, full renovations, or any room getting new flooring.

Eight sizes, including the ones nobody stocks

2x12, 3x10, 4x10, 4x12, 4x14, 6x10, 6x12 and 6x14. The 2x12 suits narrow toe-kick and stair runs; the 6x12 and 6x14 cover high-volume supply drops and small returns that usually force people into an oversized grille. Single units or 5-packs.

Built to be walked on

Heavy-gauge metal in matte black, with an adjustable damper so you can balance airflow room by room. Nothing plastic to warp near a hot duct or crack under a point load.
