14x14 is the exhaust mount, a cover that fits over an existing bathroom or laundry exhaust fan housing rather than into a duct opening, and at 39.7 square inches of free area it is the largest single opening in the wall line apart from the 10x30.

Free area is the open cross-section air actually passes through, not the outside of the cover. How we calculate it.

Measuring for this size

The 14x14 covers a fan housing rather than a duct, so measure the housing flange and note the fan make and model before ordering. Exhaust housings vary far more between brands than duct openings do.

Why is the 14x14 free-area figure calculated differently?

Because it is a fan cover, not a perimeter-ring vent, so the calculation behind every other size on this site does not describe it. Our ring geometry returns 34.3 square inches for it; its published specification says 39.7. We publish the 39.7 and flag the difference rather than quietly mixing two methods in one table.

What does the 14x14 exhaust mount fit?

The housing of an existing bathroom or laundry exhaust fan, not a duct opening. Measure the housing flange itself and note the fan make and model before ordering, because exhaust housings vary far more between brands than duct openings do. Email support@khansupply.co with the measurements before cutting anything.

Can I use the 14x14 as a normal wall or ceiling vent?

No. It is built as a cover for an exhaust fan housing, not as a duct vent, so it does not mount into a rough opening the way the rest of the line does. If you want a large square vent on a duct, the 10x10 is the square size built for that, at 32.1 square inches of free area.

How do I measure for a replacement vent?

Measure the duct opening, not the old cover. Pull the existing vent out, measure the hole itself across the width and the length in millimetres, and match that to the duct dimension listed on this page. Vent sizes are named for the duct, so a vent called 4x10 has a face larger than 4 by 10 inches. Measuring the faceplate is the single most common reason a size arrives wrong.

What happens if I order the wrong size?

Email support@khansupply.co with your order number and the millimetre measurements of your opening, and we will work out which size actually fits and sort out the exchange. Every Khan Supply vent also carries a 2-year warranty against defects, which is separate from a fit exchange.

What does shipping cost?

Nothing. Shipping is free on every order across North America, on a single vent and on a 5-pack alike. You will get tracking by email once the order is on its way. If a vent arrives damaged, photograph the box and the part and email support@khansupply.co, Monday to Friday 9 to 5 ET, and we reply within one business day.
